Being Familiar With Bass Fishing

Bass Fishing or more commonly known as Black Bass is a gamefish activity that is found in ponds, rivers, streams, lakes, creeks, as well as roadside ditches.  Yes, not all fishing activity end up with the fisherman keeping, selling or even eating the fish. This is actually a sport that has evolved into a multi-billion dollar industry.

This bass fishing sport started in the late 19th century and it has drastically changed since then.  It is actually a very popular game in the United States and because of this angling activity, fishing gear like rods, reels, lures, lines, fish-finding instruments, electronic depth, drift boats, specialized bass boats and float tubes have developed significantly.

The kind of fish involved in this angling sport is the black bass. The black bass has several species or several kinds like the largemouth bass which is considered the one with the wild jumps and action and isn’t normally eaten because it doesn’t have enough meat taste.  The smallmouth bass on the other hand is gives the hardest fight.  It also has high jumps that tends to throw the hook.

Other bass fish are Spotted bass and Guadalupe bass, all members of the sunfish family.  They are all really strong fish, one that is meant for recreation.
